R4R’s Women's Fly Fishing Event 2022

August 11th - 14th, 2022

in Minturn, CO, the quaint historic mountain town in the Vail Valley

EVENT IS SOLD OUT - GET ON WAIT LIST

After the success of our inaugural Women's Fly Fishing event in July of 2020 and an even bigger event in 2021, we are excited to offer another Women’s Fly Fishing event in 2022

The event will again be in Minturn, the quaint historic mountain town in the Vail Valley. Fishing is unique in Minturn, located on the beautiful Eagle River surrounded by National Forests. Our purpose is to create a time and space for women to enjoy the outdoors and gather together in a fun and healthy setting. All this while supporting a charity that specifically affects many young girls (more so than boys!).

We are only accepting 26 women, so don’t miss out.

The fee for this event is $1000 per person and includes:

* 3 Nights/4 days of lodging at Minturn Inn and Eagle River Inn

* All food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) & drinks

* Fly fishing with access to world-class private waters

* Hiking in the gorgeous Vail valley

* Professional fishing guides and casting clinic at Minturn Anglers and Colorado Angling Company, all aspects of fly fishing instructions

I have never had more fun on a girls trip. Float fly fishing with our guides was an experience worth repeating! Every detail of the Risers womens fly fishing event was well thought out, enjoyable and seamless. Everyone I met at the event felt like an old friend, it was so great to be in the mountains together and learning more about fly fishing. I am very much a newbie and loved everyone minute of it and can’t wait to go back next year! It was also a really good feeling to be able to contribute to, and learn more about, such a great cause. Thank you Risers 4 Rett!

Volunteering & fishing with Risers 4 Rett is simply doing what I love with the family I choose. The R4R committee, guides, lodging staff and all of the participants are truly a community of kind souls. I have made so many new friends and year after year it is inspiring to see the progress that is being made towards a cure. Knowing that our efforts and the funds we raise are helping make clinic days easier for Rett families makes my heart happy!

Charity being supported by this event

Risers 4 Rett’s main purpose is to raise funds for the Rett Clinic at the Children's Hospital Colorado. The Clinic requires a minimum of $100,000/year to provide support to Rett families. One of our top goals when establishing this Clinic, was to provide a place where the doctors come to the patients, not the other way around. So Rett Families conveniently stay in one. But besides the convenience, we also wanted to provide a variety, a multidisciplinary Clinic. For one afternoon, we bring together up to 15 sub-specialty providers and therapists to provide a comprehensive evaluation for your child. There are only a handful of Rett Clinics in the US and people from all over the world are coming to this Clinic. For more info click here.

The Rett Clinic was a well-oiled machine, where doctors, therapists, nutritionists, social workers and nurses gave suggestions on how to improve Tatum’s quality of life.
