Inaugural Women’s Risers4Rett event
The inaugural Women’s Risers 4 Rett event, which happened from July 24th - 26th, 2020 was an amazing success! Thankfully, due to the smaller gathering size and outdoor location we were still able to host the event amidst Corona virus restrictions. Sixteen women gathered to learn more about Rett Syndrome, fish the Colorado and Eagle River, relax and build community together. Lodging was provided by Minturn Inn, a charming ten bedroom B&B and all food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) & drinks was included. Participants enjoyed fly fishing with access to world-class private waters accompanied by professional fishing guides. Minturn Anglers offered a casting clinic and all aspects of fly fishing instructions. As an extra element, everyone enjoyed Yoga at Anhata Yoga Studio as well as wine tasting.

Minturn Anglers, Gore Creek Fly Fisherman and Colorado Angling Company provided top guides to float and wade with the participants. When not fishing, attendees enjoyed a yoga class at Anahata Yoga Studi, explored the quaint town of Minturn; attended a wine tasting, hiked, and enjoyed food from Vail Catering Concepts and Moe’s BBQ. The lodging at the Minturn Inn was above and beyond all expectations with the customer service, the comfort of individual rooms and the European style breakfasts.

Every detail of the Risers womens fly fishing event was well thought out, enjoyable and seamless.
